재단 이사장 인사말

안녕하세요!

퀘벡한민족재단은 모국을 중심으로 형성되어 가는 세계 한민족 공동체의 캐나다 지역 거점을 꿈꾸며 탄생한 자생 비영리 공익 법인체입니다. 2026년 현재 100여 명의 교직원과 2천여 명의 학생으로 구성된 몬트리올 최대의 한인운영 교육기관입니다. 산하에 한인유치원, 한인초등학교, 한인중학교, 한인청년회와 퀘벡정부위탁 불어학교(파트타임, 풀타임), 몬트리올 세종학당이 두 개의 센터에서 서로 협력하면서 보다 나은 몬트리올 동포사회를 향해 나아가고 있습니다.

2009년 설립후,  2013년 비영리 교육법인으로 퀘벡 정부에 등록한 이래 대한민국 정부와 캐나다 연방정부, 퀘벡 주 정부의 각종 프로젝트를 수행하고 있습니다. 그 수익금으로 몬트리올 동포사회의 발전사업(▲차세대 육성사업 ▲한인정착 지원사업 ▲노년복지 증진사업 ▲주류사회 참여사업)을 시행합니다. 향후 10년 안에 몬트리올 한인 차세대 육성 펀드 1백만 달러(Montreal Korean Next Generation Development Fund 1M$)도 비축하겠습니다. 

퀘벡한민족재단의 윤리관은 ‘공유경제(Economy of Communion)’입니다. 윤리강령을 준수하며, 기업처럼 경영해서 비영리 기관처럼 동포사회로 이익금을 환원하겠습니다. 전세계 동포사회의 한인 비영리 단체가 겪고 있는 재정적 한계를 극복하고 자력으로 운영해 나가는 자주자립형 사회적기업(社會的企業, Social Enterprise)을 지향하겠습니다.

Principes éthiques fondamentaux

• La Fondation adhère à l’Économie de Communion comme valeur fondamentale. The Foundation adheres to the Economy of Communion as a fundamental value.
• La Fondation exclut tout intérêt privé de ses opérations commerciales et financières et agit avec équité et intégrité. The Foundation excludes any private interest from its commercial and financial operations and acts with fairness and integrity.
• La Fondation respecte la diversité des générations, des cultures et des valeurs. The Foundation respects the diversity of generations, cultures and values.
• La Fondation se consacre à l’éducation des futures générations de Coréens à Montréal et au développement durable de la communauté. The Foundation is dedicated to the education of future generations of Koreans in Montreal and to the sustainable development of the community.
